Interim Director - Organisational & Service Development - Central Government

Directing a number of high profile Government shared service programmes delivered through a range of private sector agreements. Delivered through a central governance and management structure, all the services are available for use across Government. The programme has successfully expanded the range of suppliers and services available to Government through procurement and re-use of existing framework agreements.  As shared service contracts, robust business case development and effective delivery management have been essential to ensure value for money.

Interim Chief Executive - Organisational Change & Improvement - Local Government

Appointed, following a failed Audit Commission inspection, to lead a newly created Arms Length Management Organisation through an organisational change and improvement programme. Restructured Business Plan, Risk Strategy, statutory plans and achieved Authority and Audit Commission sign off. Implemented revised governance and recruited new Board and executive management team of four including permanent Chief Executive. The ALMO passed re-inspection.

Consultant - Organisational Review - Health & Social Care

Delivered a review of community primary care services for people with long-term conditions and older people in line with the Government’s national framework. Successfully delivered: Vision statement for future services based on Government health policy; futures visioning and consultation events for staff, patients and community stakeholders; new service profiles and implementation plans.

Consultant - Service Improvement - Health Care

Consulting to a major health improvement and organisational development programme across two acute and two primary health trusts. Project managed completion of phase two of a three phase, four year programme, reconfiguring existing services and developing staff competencies to improve patient pathways. Supported the drafting of the successful bid to fund phase three of the programme to implement service redesigns. 

Consultant - Business Development - Private Sector Public Relations

Commissioned to develop a new business strategy and implemented senior staff mentoring programme. Created a financial and business risk appraisal model to support future business development.
